The Skyliners Ski Swap is Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Pavilion in Bend, with discount hours from 3 to 5 p.m. It's Central Oregon's big preseason gear sale: locals consign their used skis, snowboards, boots, and winter clothing, and local and regional retailers bring new gear at deep discounts. A ticketed Pre-sale & Party on Friday evening adds food, fire pits, an outdoor ski film, and a Winter Expo of local organizations and businesses, and the expo continues through Saturday.
The swap is one of the largest fundraisers of the year for the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation (MBSEF), which grew out of the Skyliners, Bend's first ski club. Proceeds help keep its youth ski, snowboard, and cycling programs affordable and fund scholarships. The sale is run by MBSEF staff, coaches, athletes, and volunteers, who help consignors check in gear on Thursday and Friday and work the floor on sale day. Volunteers get into the Friday pre-sale and party free as a thank-you. The organizations below are taking part.

The Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation (MBSEF) is a Bend nonprofit that develops young mountain athletes through year-round Alpine, Nordic, freeride, and cycling programs. It grew out of the Skyliners, Bend's first ski club, and works to keep competitive snow sports affordable through scholarships and travel grants. Its annual Skyliners Ski Swap is one of its largest fundraisers.
Volunteers help with everything from office tasks to events and races, which keeps program costs down for young athletes. Roles include race crew for alpine and Nordic races and event help at the Skyliners Ski Swap and the Pole Pedal Paddle.
