International Women's Day

International Women's Day falls on Monday, March 8, 2027, at the start of Women's History Month, and Central Oregon has a long tradition of marking it. For nearly a decade, World Muse filled downtown Bend every March with its Muse Conference, bringing global changemakers like Angela Davis, Tarana Burke, and Shirin Ebadi to the Tower Theatre alongside local women, artists, and youth. That spirit lives on in the women's networks, giving circles, and service clubs working across the region today.

This is a great month to find your place among them. Join a giving circle that pools its gifts for local nonprofits, a service club with a century of history, or a business community lifting women founders. Coach a Girls on the Run team, mentor a young innovator, protect wild lands with the Great Old Broads, or walk alongside women rebuilding their lives after crisis. The organizations below all welcome volunteers.
