About Housing Works
The regional housing authority for Deschutes, Crook, and Jefferson Counties and the largest provider of affordable housing in Central Oregon. It runs the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program and owns and manages affordable rental communities across the region. It also offers savings and asset-building programs, deposit assistance loans, and homeownership help, serving more than 2,000 low-income households.

Volunteer inquiries go through the main office; Housing Works has no public volunteer page. Its board of commissioners is made up of volunteers appointed by Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson Counties, plus a resident commissioner.
