also known as 100+ WWCCO, 100 Women Who Care Central Oregon, 100+ Women Who Care
Giving circle of 100+ Central Oregon women who pool $100 each per quarter to award $10,000+ to a local nonprofit, chosen by member vote after short presentations. Since 2014 it has supported well-known and obscure local charities alike, recently giving $13,630 to Think Wild and funding Every Child Central Oregon's clothing bundles for kids entering foster care.
Members commit $100 and about 90 minutes each quarter. At each meeting they hear three short presentations, vote, and pool their gifts to the winning nonprofit. Any member can nominate and present a local charity she cares about, so it's a powerful way to put a small or lesser-known nonprofit in front of 100+ engaged women. Members can also help with events, outreach, and planning.
Women's Foundation of Oregon
also known as WFO
Statewide foundation funding gender justice work across Oregon, with grantee partners in 23 counties. Using a trust-based, low-barrier approach, it supports organizations serving women, girls, and communities historically left out of philanthropy, and goes beyond the check by recruiting and matching volunteers for its grantees.
WFO's Volunteer Committee interviews interested volunteers and matches them with roles at its grantee nonprofits across Oregon based on their time, talents, and passions. It's a good path for people who want help finding the right place to serve women and girls, especially where small nonprofits don't have capacity to recruit volunteers themselves.

also known as GSI, Girls STEAM Institute

Alumni have gone on to MIT, NASA, and Microsoft.
Volunteers mentor teams of girls and young women through STEAM business challenges, share their careers as monthly expert speakers, coach on leadership, finance, and pitching, and help run events, many of them held virtually so you can mentor from anywhere. Teens who've been through the program often come back as junior mentors and interns.
