Volunteer opportunities in Central Oregon

Younity

About Younity

Younity is an all-volunteer Bend nonprofit, founded in 2009, that brings people together to recognize, respond to, and reduce bullying and suicide. It funds and runs immersive, experiential workshops that help students stand up to bullying and intolerance, discover their own power, and treat others with compassion, building a culture of kindness and inclusion in schools. It has reached more than 9,900 youth across Central Oregon.

Volunteering looks like

Younity is all-volunteer, and adult volunteers are central to its workshops: after training, they serve as small-group facilitators alongside students, sharing their own stories and helping young people practice kindness, courage, and connection. More than 2,700 adults have volunteered since 2009. Volunteers also help with logistics, outreach, and fundraising.
