Volunteer opportunities in Central Oregon

Sunriver Music Festival, Inc.

About Sunriver Music Festival, Inc.

The Sunriver Music Festival, now in its fifth decade, presents a world-class classical festival each August led by Artistic Director and Conductor Brett Mitchell, with the Festival Orchestra and soloists performing at the Sunriver Resort Great Hall and Bend's historic Tower Theatre, plus pops and family concerts, masterclasses, and year-round events. Its Young Artists Scholarship program has awarded nearly $750,000 to more than 180 Central Oregon music students, and it supports music education in local schools.

Volunteering looks like

Each August, Sunriver and Bend homeowners host visiting orchestra musicians for about two weeks, a beloved tradition that builds lasting friendships (hosts get a poster, gift certificate, and closing-night invitation). Volunteers also usher and greet at concerts, help at receptions, galas, and the Raise the Baton fundraiser, and support year-round concerts and school music programs.
