About Sisters Community Leadership Initiative

Sisters Community Leadership Initiative (SCLI) is committed to decreasing rubbish accumulation, minimizing harm to the forest, and increasing health and hygiene for unsheltered people living temporarily on the Deschutes National Forest, Sisters Ranger District.

Volunteering looks like

Forest and land stewardship volunteering: large-group cleanup events and smaller 'hot spot' cleanups removing waste from the Deschutes National Forest, plus weekly trash collection routes and employer-partnered volunteer days. Some sites involve hiking rough terrain to haul out debris; safety gear is provided.
