Volunteer opportunities in Central Oregon

Silver Rail Elementary PTO

About Silver Rail Elementary PTO

The PTO is a non-profit organization that exists for the purpose of supporting the education of children at Silver Rail Elementary School by fostering relationships among the school, parents, and teachers. The PTO seeks to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging family involvement and improving the environment at Silver Rail through volunteer and financial support.

Volunteering looks like

Event support (staffing and cheering shifts at school events like the Color Fun Run), riding along with the student Bike Bus, helping run the school-day Mileage Club, Watch D.O.G.S. (dads and father figures volunteering at school), and PTO leadership roles. Commitments range from a one-hour shift to ongoing leadership. All volunteers need a current Bend-La Pine Schools background check.
