Volunteer opportunities in Redmond, Oregon
Redmond Community Concert Association
About Redmond Community Concert Association
The Redmond Community Concert Association has brought touring musicians from around the world to Redmond for more than 40 years, often called Central Oregon's best-kept secret. Each season, October through April, it presents five concerts, from brass ensembles and string quartets to jazz, a cappella, and vocal stars, each performed twice on a Sunday at Ridgeview High School, all for one affordable season subscription, with low-cost student and family tickets. It also offers outreach performances for local music students and performing arts scholarships for Deschutes County high school seniors.
Volunteering looks like
RCCA is entirely volunteer-run, from the board to concert day. Volunteers greet and usher at the Sunday matinee and evening shows at Ridgeview High School, help with season subscriptions and ticketing, host visiting performers, support student outreach concerts, and help select and run the performing arts scholarships for local high school seniors.
