Volunteer opportunities in Bend, Oregon

Pollinator Pathway Bend

About Pollinator Pathway Bend

Pollinator Pathway Bend creates and connects native habitat for bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators across Bend by working with homeowners, businesses, and the city and parks departments. It plants native gardens in public spaces like Franklin's Corner Community Garden and downtown pocket parks, gives away thousands of native plants each spring, shares seed-saving and garden resources, and invites neighbors to take the pledge to garden pesticide-free.

Volunteering looks like

Volunteers plant and maintain native pollinator gardens in parks, pocket parks, and public spaces at weekend planting parties and weed pulls, help run the annual spring native plant giveaway, support the community seed library, and staff tables at farmers markets and community events. All levels of experience are welcome, from first-time gardeners to Master Gardeners, and businesses have joined in with staff volunteer crews.
