Oktoberfest Bend
also known as Bend Oktoberfest
About Oktoberfest Bend
Bend Oktoberfest brings German-inspired beer, food, and live entertainment to the grounds of the Deschutes Historical Museum each September, with crowd favorites like the wiener dog races, pretzel tossing, stein holding, barrel rolling, and a yodeling competition. It is produced by Lay It Out Events.
Volunteering looks like
Volunteers help run the festival in shifts covering setup and teardown, entry and guest services, contests and games, and beer garden support. Lay It Out Events rewards its volunteers with perks like a discount on an upcoming LIOE race or entry to an upcoming LIOE festival. Sign up through the Bend Festivals volunteer page.
