Citizen Review Board
About Citizen Review Board
The Citizen Review Board, a program of the Oregon Judicial Department, uses trained community volunteers to review the cases of children in foster care and make findings and recommendations to the juvenile court, helping each child reach a safe, permanent home.
Volunteering looks like
Volunteer board members are trained to review the cases of children in foster care, meeting monthly to hear from families, caseworkers, and attorneys and make findings and recommendations to the court about each child's safety and path to a permanent home.
