About Central Oregon Mastersingers, Inc.
The Central Oregon Mastersingers is one of the region's premier choral ensembles, founded in 2005 and led by Artistic Director and Conductor Christian Clark. Its volunteer singers perform music spanning the 12th to the 21st centuries, from choral masterworks with orchestra to fresh arrangements of popular music, in an annual concert season including a holiday concert at the Tower Theatre, collaborations with the Sunriver Music Festival, and many free or low-cost performances. It celebrated its 20th season in 2025-26 and has been invited to sing at Carnegie Hall and St. Peter's Basilica.
Volunteering looks like
The choir itself is made up of accomplished volunteer singers from across Central Oregon, who audition to join, with fee scholarships available so cost is never a barrier. Non-singers help with concert front-of-house and ushering, ticketing, publicity, and fundraising.
