About Central Oregon Junior Golf Association
Central Oregon Junior Golf Association has grown junior golf across Central Oregon since 1993, giving young people ages 4 and up a path from first swings to tournament play while building focus, perseverance, honesty, and sportsmanship. After the Silver Rail tragedy, COJGA partnered with Old Back Nine and XGolf Bend on free 'Play Together' sessions for kids.
Volunteering looks like
Volunteers help junior golfers learn and compete: coaching and instruction at youth clinics, and tournament support including registration and check-in, on-course marshaling and snack/water stations, scoring, and serving as a rules official for those who know the Rules of Golf. Most opportunities run during the summer season.
