Volunteer opportunities in Bend, Oregon

Cascade Chorale Association

About Cascade Chorale Association

The Cascade Chorale, founded in 1949, is a mixed community chorus of about 75 singers affiliated with Central Oregon Community College's music department and directed by James Knox. It presents three concerts a year, in December, March, and June, spanning choral music of every era, including Holiday Magic, its annual fundraiser with two performances at Bend's Tower Theatre.

Volunteering looks like

Singers of the community, from recent high school grads to decades-long members, join by meeting with the director for voice placement (ongoing tryouts); rehearsals are Tuesday evenings at COCC in Bend. Volunteers also help run concerts and the annual Holiday Magic fundraiser at the Tower Theatre, with ushering, ticketing, and hospitality.
