About Camp Sherman Historical Society
The Camp Sherman Historical Society is an all-volunteer nonprofit, founded in 2004, that preserves the history of Camp Sherman and the Metolius River area. It records oral histories, collects photographs and articles, produces films about early Camp Sherman, and supports restoration of historic sites like the Community Hall and the Civilian Conservation Corps picnic shelters along the river.
