Boys and Girls Clubs of Bend
About Boys and Girls Clubs of Bend
Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend has served the community for more than 25 years, providing supportive relationships and opportunities for growth that inspire youth ages 5 to 18 to reach their full potential in the classroom, at home, and in the community. Its after-school and summer programs focus on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character and leadership, and it provides scholarships to 60 to 70 percent of members, most from low-income families in the Bend-La Pine district.
Volunteering looks like
Volunteers mentor and support kids at the Club: tutoring and homework help, leading or assisting activities in arts, sports, STEM, and cooking, sharing career skills, and helping with special events and fundraisers. Businesses and groups can volunteer for projects and events. Volunteers working with youth complete a background check.
