Volunteer opportunities in Bend, Oregon

Board House Society

also known as BoHo, Board House

About Board House Society

Board House Society (BoHo) is a Bend nonprofit community skate project, founded in 2024, that empowers everyone through skateboarding, creative expression, and community. It started with a plan to bring an indoor skatepark back to Central Oregon, a year-round space for all ages and skill levels, and grew into much more: summer skate camps, lessons, skateboarding in schools, open skate sessions, and partnerships with Big Brothers Big Sisters and Deschutes Public Library. Built on inclusion and positive skate culture, BoHo also brings together art, film, and music while it works toward a permanent indoor home.

Volunteering looks like

BoHo is a community project, and volunteers help make it go: supporting skate camps, lessons, and open skate sessions, helping run community events, competitions, and fundraisers like its Community Jams, and lending creative skills in art, film, and music. Experienced skaters can help coach and encourage new riders. Sign up through the volunteer form to connect with the crew.
